Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the pair met personally to publicize next month's bout.
Ex two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning huge paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As both boxers participated in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly happening.
