The legal representative, prosecuting, described Ruben's offending to the court.

She stated his those affected were under-privileged children who were attending a summer camp which he operated.

Ruben engaged in a "sweet game" with the minors, the prosecutor said, in which he would access the sleeping quarters when they were getting ready for bed and request they to eat sweets "rapidly".

She stated to the judge Ruben had played this game with the young males "repeatedly", and minors had previously become sick the following morning.

"They chose" to investigate in the individual's items."

The prosecutor said objects including lubricant, Vaseline and injection devices were found, and his stepson notified the law enforcement about his suspicions.

She said the man continued to engage in the "sweet game" with six children that time - Saturday 26 July - and they were all sick the following morning.

"The police had not gone out by that stage," she continued.

The regulatory agency, the investigative body, previously told that it was reviewing law enforcement's management of the events.

The legal representative explained the minors were struggling to walk due to their condition, so the stepson called the authorities once more.

She stated the defendant then conducted the "sweet game" in a area of five children.
